   For a long time, I believe that that English only happened when we’ve opened our textbooks or answered questions in class. I thought, speaking and writing were the only ways to improve. However, one classroom experience helped me realize that English can be learned quietly simply by paying attention to the world around us. One day, our teacher asked us to sit calmly and observe of a surroundings. We were not allowed to talk or right. Instead, we had to listen carefully and notice in English words of precious we had. At first, I felt confuse because I had never learned this way before.. But slowly, I started noticing things I had ignored before such as an English song playing softly, words on the poster near the classroom, and short conversations among friends.  I used to think that learning English meant sitting quietly, mesmerizing words, and try not to make mistakes. Speaking in front of others made me nervous, and I often worried about being getting judged. However, one classroom experience completely changed the way I felt about learning English. One day, our teacher divided us into small groups and gave us a simple task, which was “help each other complete a short English activity.” Each group member had a small role such as one person rate, another road, and another shared ideas. Space I was afraid of making mistakes, especially when speaking in front of others. I often stayed silent in class, even when I knew the answer.   Learning English becomes truly meaningful when students connect with it emotionally. One of the most powerful ways to create this connection is through storytelling. Stories allow students  to imagine, feel and express themselves freely. In my experiences as a teacher, I have seen how stories can transform even the quietest classroom into a space full of confidence, creativity, and joy. In one of my lessons, I decided to move beyond the textbook and introduce a simple storytelling activity to my students. I asked students to think about a small moment in their lives such as a happy memory, a funny incident, or even an imaginary situation. They only needed to to share a story in their own way as they did not have to write perfectly or use difficult words. At first some students hesitated.   Learning English does not stop when students leave the classroom, in fact some of the most meaningful and effective learnings happen outside the four walls of classroom. For examples in  conversations, daily routines, and real-life experiences we  use many English words knowingly and unknowingly. As a teacher, I have seen How students become more confident and motivated when they realize that English is not only a subject but a part of our everyday lives.  In the classroom, students often focus on grammar rules, spellings and sentence structures. While these are important, true language learning happens when students use English naturally. I once asked my students  to observe how English appears in their daily surroundings such as shop boards, television, mobile phones, product labels and even social media. Confidence does not always grow from big achievements. In my experience as an English teacher, it often begins with the smallest activities such as simple tasks that allow  students to feel safe, capable, and heard. Many learners enter the English classroom with fear, but with right activities chosen by the teacher, even the quietest student will begin to shine. So confidence is something we teachers should help to build up in the child even though it is the duty of parents as teachers we also share a responsibility to do so. As an English teacher, I have often noticed a familiar look on my students' faces when I write on the blackboard. It is a look of attention mixed with hesitation. For many learners, English feels like a subject filled with rules, corrections, and exams. Teaching English has taught me something deeply personal that language is not learned only through rules, but through trust, emotion, and human connections.
